Radishes

Radishes

To store, put radishes in bag or veggie container in the fridge.

To clean, rinse under cold water.

Farmer Scott enjoys radishes raw or with a little salt. They are also delicious sauteed with oil and green onions. The Farabaugh family loves Radish Spread!

RADISH SPREAD

8 oz. cream cheese

¼ C butter

½ - 1 tsp. celery salt

1/4 tsp. paprika

½ tsp. Worcestershire sause

1 C finely chopped radish

¼ C finely chopped green onion

Cream together cream cheese and butter.  Add celery salt, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.  To finely chop radish and green onion, use a food processor on pulse until you get the fine chopped consistency. Add radish and green onion mix to cream cheese mix and stir until blended. Chill at least 2 hours (to allow flavors to meld).  Serve with crackers, pretzels, etc. YUM!

NOTE: Try smoked paprika for another delicious alternative. Makes very nice sandwich spread!
